St. Petersburg, Russia, Part 4: Peter & Paul Cathedral, inside Peter & Paul Fortress
Day two of two in St. Petersburg, after the Church of the Spilled Blood, we crossed a bridge to the Peter & Paul Fortress on Hare Island in the Neva River. The main attraction there is the Peter & Paul Cathedral. Not much too look at from the outside, but it's very ornate inside (in pink, green, and gold), and contains the tombs of most of the Russian tsars (can't decide how I want to spell that word - I like both alternatives), including Peter the Great.
