To Document this Feeling of the Probable Very Beginning of the Flu
What are these feelings, that translate as a whole to my brain simply as "I'm trying not to come down with the flu that everyone is talking about" ? Let's try to distill it: - slight disorientation
- moving my head feels exaggerated, heavier than usual, must make smaller movements so it doesn't go too far
- slight feeling of almost dizziness but not quite
- wanting to close my eyes in small moments of waiting (like while opening an envelope, until I can see what's inside)
- slight hint of possible headache coming
- slight pins and needles of feeling a bit colder than I should be given the turtleneck and sweater and heater on...
- increasing achiness of back
- small tasks seem larger than usual Early stage yet...let's see if I can overcome it...must finish clearing off my desk and paying bills before I succumb (or rather, while not succumbing) Have you recently had the flu? Beaten it and come out the other side? Still sick? Or still holding out against it while those around you drop like flies? Which continent are you reading from?
