Dancing, Ephesians, Birthday, Spring Break, Dinner Game
I am in the throes of pulling together the organization of a lot of events right now, about which I am asking God for lots of help:
- another family 19th Century dance evening on April 17th (if you live in the Zurich or Zug area of Switzerland, you're welcome - let me know and I'll give you details!)
- a new ladies' Bible study on the letter of to the folks at Ephesus in Turkey, with a Community Bible Study (CBS) study guide
- Emily's 12th birthday party and sleepover in a week or so
- Jason's college tour over spring break in the U.S. (fortunately David and Jason are organizing this one and I get to go along for the ride!)
This afternoon, a neighbour cat got stuck in our garage for the first time. She used to come in every time we park in there, and just escape at the last minute as the door is closing, but this time she didn't make it, and I didn't notice that she was in there. Fortunately, she was only captive for about 45 minutes.
And tonight we went to Jason's high school's production of The Dinner Game, translated into English from the French by a French schoolmate of Jason's, who directed the play. It was very funny, like the movie.
Since the last bit of snow finally melted yesterday, OF COURSE IT SNOWED TODAY! It had been 2.5 weeks since the last snow (on Valentine's Day), so it was fun to see the little flakes coming down, once in the morning, and once in the evening. It didn't really stick. But it was good cheery news since we are planning our final ski day on Sunday, with my brother. Hopefully it will turn into a full-blown snowstorm overnight, keep dumping until Sunday morning around 8:30am, and then the sun will come out and be brilliant, while the temps stay down. :-) Or at least all this at the resort we are heading to.
